Biography

Stephanie Seeney is the Senior Specialist Teacher in singing for the Bromley Youth Music Trust looking after the borough’s singers and choirs, and supporting schools in giving opportunities to their singers. She conducts the Junior Singers and Youth Choir for BYMT, as well as several school choirs.  Stephanie studied with BYMT whilst at school, singing in the choirs that she now conducts, as well as the National Youth Choir. She went on to complete undergraduate and post graduate studies at music college, before embarking on a career as a classical mezzo soprano. She spent many years singing with professional groups such as the BBC Singers, Academy of Ancient Music and London Voices, broadcasting on Radio 3 and recording film soundtracks, and sang in some of the most famous concert halls around the world. Full circle brought her back to BYMT.
