The Arts at St George’s has its origins in St George’s Arts Festival founded in 1992, now St George’s Festival for Beckenham. The central aim of the Arts at St George’s is to produce a year round programme of Arts events, including an annual Arts Festival, for the benefit of the community of Beckenham and its surrounding areas enabling St George’s Church to be a valued resource for the whole community.
We hope you will enjoy visiting our website and look forward to welcoming all to St George’s and the Arts events we offer here.

4th October 2020
We regret that all major AASG 2020 sponsored events have now been cancelled due to Covid 19.
(i) Our FREE Friday Lunchtime and Saturday Coffee time recitals restarted on Friday 2nd October when St George’s Chamber Orchestra’s Dominic Moore (violin) and Martin Cousin (piano) played a programme of Handel and Brahms. Recitals are now booked to the end of 2020.
(ii) We expect that the SGCO Concert Scheduled for 14th November will still go ahead but with the SGCO String Quartet playing a Beethoven Programme. This concert will be of only 1 hour’s duration with a restricted audience.
Our 2021 Season Programming is now all but complete with nearly all this year’s events rescheduled for 2021. Covid 19 may still impact whether these events can be run. We continue to monitor the situation and consider how we might be able to operate for the rest of 2020 and in 2021 should similar Covid restrictions apply then. Please watch this space!
