Biography

Simon was in the very first line-up of Feast of Fiddles in 1994 having performed with the dance band Whittaker’s Patent Remedy a few times. This band also involved Hugh, Martin, Dave Harding and occasionally Ian and former member Alan Whetton. Hugh had met Simon in Weymouth when he was still a teenager and playing with local musician Ken Watkins.

Having dropped out of music for a while doing lots of other things Simon joined Merry Hell and also joined Feast of Fiddles for the occasional gig. This developed into joining the band again full time for the 2024 tour and a couple of festival appearances.
