Biography
Bromley Youth Chamber Orchestra is made up of roughly 30 students from many different schools across the region. They rehearse once a week for 2 hours during term time and perform 4 Concerts a year plus going on tour in the Summer each year. Getting a place in this prestigious orchestra is by invitation and audition. The Orchestra really enjoy playing a wide variety of musical styles including traditional String Orchestra repertoire as well as Romantic and Early 20th Century Pieces. Some of these players will go on to study music at university or Music Conservatoire.
