Biography

Owen Dennis is a member of the Galliard Ensemble with whom he has released many CDs. As a BBC Radio 3 New Generation artist, Owen performed the Mozart Sinfonia Concertante with the BBC Symphony and made numerous live broadcasts, in particular Britten’s ‘Metamorphoses after Ovid’ for solo oboe in the BBC Proms. He has played principal with the London Philharmonic and has been principal of English Touring Opera & SGCO since its inception. In addition to his musical activities Owen teaches Maths at Brighton and Hove Sixth Form College and in 2018 was awarded an MSc in Intelligent and Adaptive Systems at Sussex University.
